Miriam Wedderburn, founder of Christian Girls Brunch Club has a passion for serving up spiritual and natural food to women in desperate need of Jesus. More than anything she savors being lavishly graced by God to do every good work that He has planned for her to complete in order to advance His kingdom. She is a public school and Sunday school teacher to teens. By day, she is given the opportunity to shine bright among the world, and on Sundays she has the privilege of leading young people to the knowledge of God and to discovering his unfailing love for them. She began Christian Girls Brunch Club out of a desire to see women of God develop a deeper relationship with God and to foster relationships among like-minded women beyond Sunday fellowship. She believes sharpening each other through accountability, transparency, and encouragement are key to fellowship and friendship. She loves to share inspired written content and encouragement which she prays will perfect women and girls as far as the World Wide Web reaches!
Miriam is a graduate of the Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida, where she received a bachelor’s in English Literature and minors in Spanish and Communications. Her career path is much different than the one she aspired to, but she has found much fulfillment in teaching and now with the addition of two things she’s passionate about, writing and enterprising, she is living proof that God’s plans for us far outweigh our own.
When Miriam’s not writing, she can be found in the kitchen cooking for family and creating recipes, practicing sewing (her new hobby), or otherwise savoring the good life. She is a faithful member of her local church, Greater Faith Temple Deliverance Center in Miami, Florida, where she serves as Christian Girls Brunch Club ministry leader and Intermediate Sunday School Teacher under the leadership of her beloved pastor, Dorothy M. Washington.
